I managed to get two things done today, 1st is to settle on a name for the heifer adn I have decided on Cara, an Irish name meaning friend. She has really calmed down over the last couple of weeks.

The 2nd was getting the halter fully on and moving her around a little with it. When I tied her up to the fence she really didnt like it and started to panic a little so I left her off. But I think we are getting there, I think by the time she calves she will be walking around the place by my side, fully in control.
