We've put the ewes and lambs out in the lower field where they have a field shelter. I think its good to leave them inside with the lambs for a week or two after lambing to get strong. I only have 4 ewes at the moment so its not difficult to house them for a few weeks. The lambs are loving being outdoors, running around the field like lunatics.
