Stone wall and the wild flower meadow
Wesley planted some of his home grown alpines into little spaces in the wall a few months ago and they are growing great... Some of them are even flowering already...And this one too...The wild flower meadow that we planted last year is also doing amazing, the daisy's are now in full flower and I can start to see some of the poppies coming out as well...We will strim it all back and feed it to the animals in the autumn when the seeds have set so we make sure that some of the annual plants get a chance to return again next year. There are still a few docks and big thistles that we will have to dig out when we get a chance before they get to seed. But overall its a massive improvement to what was there before, and cant wait to see the avenue of M25 apple trees reach their size of over 3-4 meters height and spread over the coming years.
