Description

This is 100% raw Dublin honey that is simply extracted from the beehive frames and passed through a course filter/sieve to remove large particles of wax/debris. It’s then put into jars ready for sale.

It’s collected by my bees over on Oldcourt Hill Farm and is from the 2022 summer flow. It consists mainly of some summer flowers such as bramble and clover but also the ragwort that gives the honey a slight bitterness which has been popular with customers who don’t like it overly sweet. It also some lots of other flowers from the plants that the bees were visiting around the gardens in Oldcourt and Ballycullen.

As this is raw honey it will naturally crystallize. It has not been heated, fine filtered, or processed in any way as a result it still contains pollen & wax particles.
