Description
This is 100% raw Dublin honey comb was completely made by my bees and hasn’t been touched by human hands. It was made by my bees living up on the farm in Glenasmole, and they were foraging Clover, Blkackberry, Rosebay Willowherd and the start of the heather honey from the mountains.
A thin sheet of natural beeswax is placed in the middle of the frame, this frame holds four round sections and the box holds eight frames.
During a heavy flow of nectar, this box is placed above the bees on the hive and with no-where else to place the incoming nectar they begin to build beeswax and store the honey in these little round areas, drawing out the comb until its full, then capping it over.
I simply remove the box, take out a frame like in the pictures, the honey comb pops out into the plastic covers.
100% Irish summer blossom honey.
Product contains 320g of honey approximately
