Plums

I decided to harvest the plums from an old plum tree I found in the ditch. The wasps were just about to start devouring them so I picked them all and have them in egg cartons to ripen. Every time I walk by I see if one is ready. The old traditional plums have to be my favourite fruit and you cannot get them in any shop in Ireland. The 3 trees I planted in the orchard will be a long time growing before I get a harvest like that.
