What a harvest today

What a busy day today besides more fencing, plenty of runner-beans, spinach, peas and tomatoes picked.

Runner-beans are being washed and sliced diagonally and frozen in freezer bags, the peas to be podded and frozen straight away.

I also got a box of very ripe bananas from Peter and have been making banana bread in batches all day. I think in total I made 4 large and 8 small loaves. I'm going to slice a lot of it up and freeze it in 2 & 4 slice pieces in cling film.

Tonight's dinner is roast venison served with buttered spinach and roasted cubes of potato.
