13 degrees at dawn and busy bees

It was 13 degrees when I went out this morning and reached 14 up until lunch. The bees were pretty busy going in and out. I had a quick look in these two hives and they seem to have some stores but still pretty small. Both hives have 6/7 bare frames of foundation but are taking in lots of pollen every day. I think I have a couple of drawn out frames that I will stick in and they may be able to bring in some ivy nectar to fill it. I think its gone too cold and late in the year for the bees to draw out new wax.
