Two new heifers

The last of the cattle arrived today from Newbridge House, they were supposed to arrive weeks ago but I think things move pretty slow out there. One of the heifers is a 30 month old kerry with massive horns, the second is a 6 month old dexter heifer also with horns.

Now that the herd is finally assembled, the vet needs to come and test them so I can get a herd health status, this will allow me to buy and sell in the future. As I have never had cattle before here on this holding, the herd has no health status, even though all animals were tested before they were moved, they still need to be tested again.

I will call the vet next week!
