Keith Pearse, who I rent the honey extractor from over in Castleknock breeds his bees to be calm and good honey producers. They are all the native black bee. He asked me if I wanted to improve my bees by re-queening my bees with his.

So in the morning I'm taking over two apideas to his apiary where he is going to put in a capped queen cell into each one and let her hatch and mate with his drones. Then I can introduce the 2 of them to 2 of my hives and start rearing my own queens from their offspring.
