This is 100% raw Dublin honey that is simply extracted from the beehive frames and passed through a course filter/sieve to remove large particles of wax/debris. It's then put into jars ready for sale.

It's collected by my bees up on the farm here in Glenasmole and is from the 2023 spring flow. It consists of sycamore and horse chestnut but this year was a good year for whitethorn and I think thats given it a very dark colour and nice rich deep taste. It tastes completely different to all the other spring blossom honeys.

As this is raw honey it will naturally crystallize. It has not been heated, fine filtered, or processed in any way as a result it still contains pollen & wax particles.
