Our Smallholding & Honey Farm
Join us for a hands-on look at modern self-sufficiency and traditional beekeeping.
1. Welcome & Introduction
The day begins with a friendly welcome over tea or coffee. After introductions, we'll give a short talk about our farm's ethos: from our self-sufficiency goals and "farm-for-nature" principles to the animals we keep and the honey we are so proud of.
2. The Farm Walk
Field-to-Fork, we'll head out for a guided walk of the smallholding.
You will see:
The thriving vegetable garden and orchard.
The paddocks and our livestock.
How we produce our own fruit, veg, eggs, beef, pork, preserves, and ferments.
3. The Honey Tour
Flower-to-Jar Get a complete overview of our beekeeping and honey operation:
The Honey House: A tour of all the equipment, from the hive components to the processing room where honey is spun from the frames and put into jars.
The Apiary: A visit to the hives (from a safe viewing distance) where we'll discuss the beekeeping year and the work involved in caring for our bees.
4. The Grand Finale
A Honey Tasting We'll wrap up with a dedicated Q&A session. To finish, you'll be invited to a guided tasting to sample the range of delicious, unique honeys produced right here on the farm.
Guided Food & Drink Tasting:
- Artisan Honey: A guided tasting of unique seasonal honeys from our farm, Dublin, and Wicklow.
- Orchard Drinks: An opportunity to try our homemade apple juice and cider.
- Seasonal Fruit: A chance to sample fresh fruit straight from the garden or orchard (depending on the time of year).
It is recommended that each person bring a pair of hiking style boots or wellies.

Here on the farm, “farm-to-table” is our daily reality, all driven by Olly’s passion. He is dedicated to growing and producing nearly all of his own food. The vegetable garden beds are bursting with seasonal vegetables, while our pastures support the livestock that provide fresh meat, eggs, and dairy. Olly’s hard work means he enjoys the incredible reward of eating food that is truly fresh, sustainable, and raised right here on his own land.
