Onion roping

We harvested the onions last week and have been drying out in the tunnel since, I made a start today roping them up for the winter. It take a little time but the end result is a nice tidy bunch of onions. I think that doing this you really find the good and bad onions, as you need to clean them somewhat, you find the onions that are not going to last the time on the rope. These can be used first and this makes sure they dont rot or go to waste.
