Cow-hide update

I got the final part of the cow hide preserving finished this evening. I applied a good layer of neatsfoot oil with a paintbrush and I will let this soak in for a week. Then I will mop off the excess oil and its good to go as a rug in the sitting room, or so I'm hoping...
