Bees in Ballycullen

Hopefully there will be plenty of Ballycullen honey next year for all the locals.I moved up a few hives to Tim's a couple of nights ago and checked them today to see if they moved over OK.  They will need proper hive stands in the next couple of week and get them level. The car tyres are great for short term placing of the hives but for longer periods they need the ventilation under the floors.The big hive is two that I combined together as one had no queen and the other had a queen but very little bees. I will check it on Sunday morning and see if it was a success.
